Feds pull health care law's home-care benefit program

U.S. health officials on Friday announced they will no longer pursue the establishment of the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports program, which was a part of the health care law, because a model could not be found to make the initiative both voluntary and self-sustaining. The program was intended to help disabled and elderly patients pay for long-term care at home.
