Australia announces major changes to new curriculum

Australia will make major changes to a draft version of the national curriculum it plans to introduce next year in grades K-10. The changes were announced after criticism that the draft version does not meet the needs of all students and leaves teachers unable to adjust to help students from diverse backgrounds. The curriculum will cover English, history, maths and science.
