Apple cites company sales record with iPhone 4S debut

Apple says consumers around the world scooped up 4 million iPhone 4S smartphones during the first three days of the device's availability, surpassing the record set by the iPhone 4. The company debuted the phone -- which includes a dual-core processor and 1080p HD video recording -- on Friday. AT&T says the launch of the device could double its record for most activations in a day.
