Kan. state board discusses education with state lawmakers

Kansas state lawmakers met with the state board of education on Wednesday to discuss funding, test scores and improving education in the state. Some lawmakers urged the board to consolidate smaller districts, but board members pointed out only the legislature can do that. "We need to be working together on things on which we can all agree," board member Ken Willard said.
