Tenn. officials say state test will cover common core material

Despite adoption of Common Core State Standards, Tennessee students still will take the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program this school year. The test generally doesn't reflect common core material, but state department of education officials say they have revamped the tests to "mimic" the standards. The state will switch to common core testing in the 2014-15 school year.
