John Deere targets women to expand business

John Deere executives took a look at company research that showed women waited outside of their dealer stores while their husbands shopped inside. Sensing an opportunity, John Deere has come up with a new retail concept it calls John Deere Place, where consumers can find the company's popular hats, a John Deere Barbie doll and a range of other products.
