Aspirin for ACS patients beneficial

An Israeli study published in the American Journal of Cardiology found aspirin response to be improved for acute coronary syndrome patients after PCI and clopidogrel loading. "Laboratory response to aspirin before PCI and clopidogrel loading is a sensitive marker for platelet reactivity that correlates with clinical outcome in patients with ACS," the authors wrote.
