South Africa approves Monsanto's biotech cotton

Monsanto's approved biotech cotton combines an insecticide with a resistance to weed-killer and marks the first time South Africa has approved a crop combining two different traits. The company expects to receive the official permit Friday, allowing the seed to be used during the next planting season.
