Some NYC residents against tree planting

Since the MillionTreesNYC initiative started two years ago in New York City, more than 220,000 trees have been planted throughout the city. But some people do not appreciate the trees, and several trees have been cut down. Others have objected to the trees, and one person went so far as to uproot two trees in Queens and toss them in the East River.
