A commercial airline pilot who refused to pass through a security scanner or submit to a manual pat-down on Friday was barred from passing through security at Memphis International Airport. "He apparently didn't want to follow the rules for screening, so the TSA said 'Turn around. You're not going through,'" said Larry Cox, president of Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority. "It doesn't matter if you're a crew member or a flight attendant or Larry Cox, you've got to go through the same procedures as a passenger."
