Chip firm develops RFID device for cattle in Brazil

CEITEC has introduced the Chip do Boi, a low-frequency passive radio-frequency identification device designed for use in the cattle industry of Brazil. The chip is being fabricated by X-FAB Silicon Foundries with a 0.6-micron complementary metal-oxide semiconductor process.
