Twitter is the ideal tool for building buzz for a food truck, says Natasha Case, owner of ice-cream-sandwich company Coolhaus. Her social media team regularly tweets passwords for secret specials and off-menu items, building engagement and helping to drive up sales. "Twitter is fantastic for location-based tweets and creating the 'cult' of the [food] truck," Case says.
