Miss. district gifted program teaches students to think creatively

Students in a gifted-education program at one Mississippi elementary school are taught lessons in creative thinking. The students are among 175 in grades 2 through 8 who participate in the district's REACH program, designed to challenge them with research-based instructional methods. The program is among others in the state, which requires all its districts to identify students who may be gifted.
