NP discusses her breast cancer, advocates exercise and laughter

Family Nurse Practitioner Justine Emerson did everything right -- healthy diet, exercise, annual mammograms -- and still got a breast cancer diagnosis in 2006. Now free of cancer, the Juneau, Alaska, nurse says she encourages breast cancer patients to exercise during and after treatment -- and add in a good dose of laughter whenever possible.
