From camouflage to a juice strainer, new book highlights unusual uses for a wedding dress

After his marriage fell apart in 2009, Kevin Cotter turned his pain into humor by starting a blog highlighting off-the-wall uses for his ex-wife's wedding dress. That same subject matter has been turned into a book, "101 Uses for My Ex-Wife's Wedding Dress," which combines insights about life and loneliness with silliness such as the idea of using a wedding dress as a juice strainer or as snow camouflage. "People have asked me if what I have done with the wedding dress has been cathartic. The answer to that is yes," Cotter writes.
