Health IT is critical for ACO success, report says

Accountable care organizations will need a host of health IT systems to operate and succeed, according to a report from CSC's Global Institute for Emerging Healthcare Practice. The report lays out several HIT investments that will help ACOs survive, including clinical IT systems and tools that streamline data access at the point of care, core data integration and management, and health information exchanges.
