Intel reportedly cuts power consumption of Ivy Bridge processors

Intel has reportedly reduced the power consumption of its "Ivy Bridge" desktop PC processors to 77W, according to presentation slides posted by the ChipHell website. The chipmaker is also expected to introduce "Ivy Bridge" processors that will draw even less power, according to this report.
