Half of companies not preparing for switch to IFRS

A survey by consulting and audit firm Protiviti found that the conversion to International Financial Reporting Standards is definitely on the back burner as CFOs struggle to cope with the global financial crisis. About half of those surveyed said their companies hadn't done anything to get ready for the transition to IFRS. Most executives are taking a "wait-and-see approach" to IFRS.
