Mashpee Wampanoag tribe signs Mass. land agreement

The Mashpee Wampanoag tribe signed a sale agreement for 300 acres in Fall River, Mass., for a casino. The tribe will pay $4.7 million for the land, and the deal should close by Nov. 16. If casino gaming is not approved on the site, the Redevelopment Authority has five years to repurchase the land.
