Teachers are trained to teach their peers about technology

A Colorado school district has adopted a new model to train teachers in technology, in which small groups of teachers are trained and serve as mentors for their peers. The goal, officials say, is to help teachers incorporate more technology in classroom lessons. The first round of training is expected to begin in January and will include middle- and high-school teachers, with elementary-school teachers to follow next year.
