Skyscraper to be built in Sandy, Utah

A 560-foot tall skyscraper has been approved by the Planning Commission in Sandy, Utah. Officials also created a special arts-and-culture zone that allows heights over its 140-foot cap in order to accommodate the tower. The building, named The Proscenium, will have a spire almost 300 feet tall and will include a hotel as well as office and retail space and a regional arts facility.
