Carb formula aims to help marathoners stay fueled until the end

A Harvard University/Massachusetts Institute of Technology student who runs marathons has developed a formula and online calculator to help fellow runners better calculate how many excess carbohydrate calories they need to finish a 26.2-mile race. Benjamin Rapoport says about 40% of runners "hit the wall" and struggle to finish a race because they have burned up their carb supply.
