Veterinary school at University of Pennsylvania gets $1M boost:

A Maryland woman has donated $1 million to the University of Pennsylvania's Veterinary School of Medicine. Gail Riepe and members of her family attended the university and she serves on the veterinary school's board of overseers. The money will be used to help build an equine surgical facility at the George D. Widener Hospital for Large Animals, according to the university.
