Failure to disclose fracking chemicals leads to fines in Colo.

Less than four months after the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission warned that it would step up enforcement efforts on hydraulic fracturing disclosure, the state is pursuing cases against 11 companies for not filing FracFocus reports. The commission expects to take up most of the cases at its meeting this month, including a contested hearing against Marathon Oil. Several of the companies have agreed to pay $1,000 fines to settle their cases.
