How a connected educator spends her day

In this blog post, Anne Mirtschin, an award-winning teacher from Australia, offers a glimpse into the life of a connected educator by chronicling a day in her life. Her day began at 6.30am with reading e-mail messages and coaching a potential moderator online at 9am. During the school day she used videoconferencing software and led her students in an activity in which they used Skype to connect with a classroom in Taiwan. At night, she checked e-mails again and also viewed her Twitter feed, Skype updates and Viber feed.
