Jennifer Siebel Newsom talks gender in media

If true gender equality is to happen, and if women are to be represented equally and with the same level of respect as males in the media, it's up to media to help bring about the change, says Feminist.com founder Marianne Schnall, and a huge first step toward that goal is the newly released film "Miss Representation." Schnall recently talked with filmmaker Jennifer Siebel Newsom about the movie and the role media, and females themselves, must play in driving dialogue and change.
