AARP survey looks at confidence on retirement funding

Having enough funds in retirement generally isn't a concern for most pre-retirees with relatively high income, savings, self-employment and education levels, an AARP survey says. AARP's Retirement Attitudes Segmentation Survey looked at pre-retirees' views of and preparation for retirement. Those whom AARP referred to as "proactive self-actualizers" were more confident about retirement and finances than were those labeled as "cautious clock-watchers," "day-to-day embracers" and "doubters."
