Cancer institute in Chicago suburb gets approval for signage

The Village Board in Chicago suburb Hinsdale, Ill., has approved a signage plan for the $48 million, 54,000-square-foot Adventist Hinsdale Cancer Institute. The exterior signage will include monument signs made from textured stone and metal to complement the outside of the building, architect Kevin Harney said. "Everything is going to be consistent so it will feel like a campus," he said.
