Tenn. town updates sign rules, leaves electronic sign ban intact

The City Council in Gallatin, Tenn., approved an updated sign ordinance that makes changes in other areas but lets stand a ban on electronic signage. "Electronic signs are such a hot-button item that we hated to tie up the updating of all the rest of the sign ordinance with that one item," Planning Commission Vice Chairman James Robert Ramsey said.
