Costs prompt debate over fighting wildfires -- or not

Environmentalists are promoting changes in federal policies on wildfire preparation in light of the wildfires in New Mexico's Manzano Mountains this year. The Forest Service estimates $1.6 billion -- half its budget -- will be spent this year fighting fires, and some environmentalists say fires should be allowed to burn in some cases to manage the land.
