Official: Credit crunch won't displace environmental concern

The credit crunch is not likely to affect the increasing demand for recycled plastics in the packaging sector, according to David Pearce, managing director of household disposables firm CeDo. Some have suggested that economic conditions could de-emphasize environmental concerns for the plastics industry, but Pearce said it has been his company's experience that price will not displace concerns about the environment.
