CMS taps 500 health centers for primary care project

The CMS announced Monday that 500 health care facilities were chosen to take part in the three-year Federally Qualified Health Center Advanced Primary Care Practice Demonstration slated to begin Nov. 1. The chosen health centers will receive about $42 million over three years, with an estimated 200,000 Medicare participants expected to benefit from the program.
