The Hampton Inn brand of hotels is keeping its ears tuned to guests and developers as it strives to lead the segment in hotel innovations, brand executives told the media at the new Hampton Inn & Suites hotel in downtown Miami. Some of the strategies the company is employing to realize this goal include a relationship with Gettys hospitality design, procurement and development and the Trendair initiative, in which executives interact with Generation Y members to learn about their consumer habits.
