ViaSat-1 operation: So far, so good

The ViaSat-1 rocket soared into space last week and executed the separation and deployment of the north and south solar arrays that power the satellite. ViaSat has set a goal of signing up 1 million subscribers to a broadband satellite service -- which WildBlue will market in the U.S. -- that will largely cater to isolated North American homes that cannot be served by wired links.
