AT&T Mobility CEO predicts big gains from tablets

AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega offered a highly upbeat outlook for his unit Wednesday, saying it expects a huge boost from tablets. "We anticipate a higher number of net adds from tablets in the fourth quarter," he said after the carrier released earnings. He pointed to the array of devices AT&T will launch, including the iPad Mini and Amazon Kindle Fire HD 4G LTE, plus tablets from Samsung, Microsoft and AsusTek.
