VA report assesses PTSD rate for Iraq, Afghanistan veterans

Almost 30% of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans treated at Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals are diagnosed with PTSD, according to a recent VA report. VA officials believe the overall PTSD rate for veterans of the two wars is 20% when those who do not seek treatment at VA facilities are included.
