House Democrats introduce anti-money-laundering bills

Reps. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., introduced bills into the House of Representatives intended to crack down on possible money laundering. Waters' bill would update laws to grant more power to the government to pursue money launderers; Maloney's would force firms to clarify the ownership structure of newly created corporations.
