How the world's emerging markets lost their way

The largest emerging markets are struggling to maintain growth, says Wharton management professor Mauro F. Guillen. Export markets are weakening, and countries such as Brazil and China are struggling to compensate by developing domestic markets. "What we see in many emerging economies, speaking broadly, is that the current model of growth is becoming exhausted," Guillen says.
