Bus gives 6th-grade students lesson in value of education

Sixth-grade students at an Alabama school got a harsh lesson recently in the potential consequences of dropping out of high school. With the help of a Mattie C. Stewart Foundation's Choice Bus, outfitted with an accurate replica of a state prison cell, students also watched videos of prisoners sharing their regrets about not continuing their education. The bus visits schools nationwide, and officials said sixth grade is a particularly good age for the lessons.
