Since launching the e-commerce company Plum Alley, founder and CEO Deborah Jackson has recognized the need to help women entrepreneurs get access to funding. For that reason, her business is now offering crowdfunding opportunities for women entrepreneurs. "Crowdfunding is great early validation," said Heidi Lehmann, one of the entrepreneurs who hopes to raise money through the site.
