Energy companies are asked to disclose carbon risks

A group of investors is asking energy giants to disclose the potential risks associated with carbon-intensive oil, gas and coal projects, arguing that emissions limits could affect the economics of fossil fuels. "We came to this with the goal of really changing the investment behavior of these companies in the mid- to long-term horizon," said Andrew Logan, director of Ceres' oil program.
