GOP is likely to ignore Obama, let immigration reform slide

President Barack Obama urged House Republicans to act swiftly to pass immigration reforms and not to put the issue on the back burner until next year. Republicans appear happy to let immigration slide, however, at least until after the next round of budget and debt ceiling fights are resolved. "We're not sure we can chew gum, let alone walk and chew gum, so let's just chew gum for a while," said Rep. Tom Cole of Oklahoma.
