N.J. chef bounces back after Hurricane Sandy

After Hurricane Sandy hit Hoboken, N.J., last year, chef Maricel Presilla spent long days with her staff removing destroyed food, disinfecting floors and rebuilding her two restaurants and a Latin market that anchored the close-knit community. Despite the storm's major setbacks, Presilla reopened each business and went on to win Cookbook of the Year at the James Beard Awards for "Gran Cocina Latina," a 900-page tome on Latin American cuisine.
