PHP.net administrators conduct damage control following breach

Visitors to the website hosted by the open-source programming language PHP may have inadvertently downloaded malware, according to site administrators, who were alerted on Thursday that two of their servers had been compromised. The malicious JavaScript code was discovered by Google's safe browsing service, and while PHP officials say the method of attack is unknown at this point, Martijn Grooten, a security researcher for Virus Bulletin, says it's likely the hackers breached the PHP Web server.
