Self magazine turns to AR for sweepstakes

Condé Nast's Self magazine is switching from Microsoft Tags to augmented reality to engage readers in its annual sweepstakes this year. Mobile users with the Self Plus application can hover over pages marked with the app's logo to get more information. "With mobile, we bridge from apps to the Web to augmented reality, which is the next evolution of engaging with the physical world," Editor-in-Chief Lucy Danziger said.
