Students pursue interest in space at Purdue's Space Day

Purdue University's Space Day event draws students from five states by exposing them to careers in aerospace technology and introducing them to astronauts. Students also get to engage in hands-on activities related to science, technology, engineering and math during the annual event. "We provide a way for children to receive extra enrichment. They get the exposure to what it's like to be an engineer," said Megan Bergman, director of public relations on Space Day's executive board.
