Experts: Staph infections prevalent among athletes

Recent reports of professional football players contracting staph infections reflect the prevalence of the disease among professional athletes and in the sports community in general, medical experts said. A spokesman for the National Football League stressed that trainers and doctors of various football teams conduct annual meetings regarding infections and other health problems.
