Apple's Newsstand proves to be a boon for Conde Nast

Conde Nast reports a 268% increase in digital subscription sales for nine of its titles since joining Apple's Newsstand two weeks ago. Across all platforms -- including iTunes, Barnes & Noble's Nook Color and the Zinio Newsstand -- the publisher of titles such as The New Yorker, Vanity Fair and Wired said it had seen a tenfold increase in digital subscriptions and single-copy sales since September 2010.
