Bedtime may be best for taking BP drugs, study says

A Spanish study of 661 people with hypertension and kidney disease found better outcomes for those who took their blood pressure medication before bedtime. Patients were a third less likely to suffer a heart attack, stroke or heart failure if they took at least one hypertension drug before going to bed, researchers reported in Journal of the American Society of Nephrology.
