Wall Street banks are looking to upgrade electronic trading platforms to make sure they can perform pre-trade risk-management checks as fast as possible. The recent ban on naked access is fueling this long-standing demand for network speed and accuracy as broker-dealers are prohibited from providing clients with unfiltered access to an exchange or alternative trading system.
